Tradition of the Tiger
At Valley Southwoods, we think that when we reward good behavior, it's more likely to happen again. We use the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Framework to give rewards for positive behavior and help students who need support.
We want our students to understand what it means to be a TIGER:
- Thoughtfulness
- Integrity
- Grit
- Empathy
- Respect
To show examples of these qualities, we have posters all around Valley Southwoods.
PBIS Rewards
To reward our students, they receive points on PBIS which they can use in our store. In the store we have a variety of Valley gear including sweatshirt, sweatpants, T-shirts, hats, stocking caps, popsockets and more. They are also able to use their points to enter into raffles.
